No 2017 foal….

It is with mixed feelings that we must share these news, DMAC Delta Dawn came back empty after three A.I. attempts to NRHA Million Dollar Sire Spooks Gotta Gun. We are really sad as we’d hoped for this combination, but at the same time we feel a little positive as her last breed date was in the middle of August… That would’ve meant a VERY LATE 2017 foal if she’d been in foal, which she’s not…

Now we’re trying to figure out our options for the re-breed contract in 2017. We may buy another mare, in the U.S., and breed her to this amazing stallion before shipping her home to Sweden. Let’s see what we’ll do!

Cow Work

This weekend Candy and I, for the first time ever, got to work cattle together. It was such a joy and I could definitely see – and feel – a lot of talent in our little sweetheart. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for SK Candybox!

We are very blessed to have these four amazing horses, all with an exceptional pedigree, in our barn. We are blessed to live on such a beautiful location along this river, and we are certainly blessed to have each others. Have a great day!

Waldemar Wass clinic

This weekend I’ve been to a reining clinic with our two year old, SK Candybox [by Snackbox]. Our filly did exceptionally well, she’s a super star and we are very proud of her. When the trainer says that she’s further along in her training than his own 2YO’s, how can we be anything other than proud?! We love this “little” gal to pieces…
